Functional Summary:

I have been in the nursing field for 47 years with 40 years of these as an L.P.N.  I have worked in all areas of nursing, but mostly the area of practice has been in the Medical/Surgical, Pediatrics and Geriatric arenas.  I am a hard worker with very good attendance.  I like working with people and have no problem with asking questions if there is something that I am unclear on.


Summary of Qualifications:

Start IV’s; give medications whether it is PO, PR, IM, IV and sublingual treatments and procedures as ordered by the doctor; dressing changes; all types of Foley catheter insertions, phlebotomy; hanging blood and blood products; documentations and chart reviews.

Phase II research study on vaccine against the Streptococcus Pneumoniae bacteria.  The focus of the study is on the preventative effects of the vaccine against ear and respiratory infections caused by this bacteria.   My duties include recruitment of study participants, randomization and administration of the study vaccine, as well as chart reviews, visit interviews, and vital signs as needed.
