I plan to relocate and I am searching for a company to further my experience and share my talents with. Although my background is in insurance, I have a wide range of experience in many areas due to the varied claims I have handled. I am not opposed to starting at a lower position in the claims industry so that I may relocate closer to my family.

I have more than eight years of management experience and more than fifteen years experience as an adjuster!  I have exceptional customer service skills, powerful negotiation skills and problem solving skills and resilient. I am dependable and trustworthy. I am proficient in the use of automobile estimating programs property estimating software, and basic computer knowledge.

This company allowed me to become independent in my investigations in which I accomplished a more in-depth investigation on many levels and on more unique type of claims. 
I am the primary casualty adjuster!  I handle mostly commercial general liability claims.  The majority of my claims involve schools which include: playground accidents, bullying claims, sexual abuse allegations with teachers as well with students, playground accidents and other injury claims. 
I also investigate governmental agency claims involving: jail injuries, false arrests, slip and falls, police misconducts, swimming pool accidents and general liability claims.
I also assist in property claims handling wind, water, and other miscellaneous residential and commercial damages.

Progressive Insurance Company: Terre Haute, IN   


This company allowed me to continue my professional growth. I started as a residential adjuster, opened up a new office for Progressive where I learned the management business.  I interviewed, hired new adjusters, and assisted in their training.  I then took a step backwards and worked as a team-leader (due to personal reasons and children), then stepped back again as a fire-theft adjuster.  Personal life changed and I was ready for a management job again and was promoted back to a team-leader.  I wore many hats with this company and enjoyed every moment.  Unfortunately I was laid off due to a reduction in staff. Team leader (2006 to 2009) • As the team leader I was in charge of the daily functions of the office, as our manager was off-site. • Trained and motivated claims adjusters by implementing creative contests to achieve outstanding results and to keep morale and the work environment high. Our office led the state in resolution and speed for handling total loss claims.• Directed claims investigations and triaged work assignments based on the skill level of representatives.  • Facilitated conflict resolutions with customers and employees, solved disputes that resulted in claims resolution and customer satisfaction. • Chosen as “Southern Indiana Customer Service Process Leader”. Created and conducted training seminars, as well as, one on one training for representatives with the goal of “WOWing customers, creating good experiences for our customers and increasing clientele.
