The time is right to join HNTB Corporation! HNTB is currently seeking a Financial Analyst I in our Raleigh, NC office.
Job Summary
Develops and prepares financial and business related analysis and research in such areas as financial performance. Provides information and analysis to leaders to help ensure financial goals are on track in order to achieve objectives. Provides interpretation and consultation on trends and results. Supports HNTB's 4 for 4 process (Consistent delivery of quality work, on time, on budget and to the client's satisfaction on every project) and profitability of project delivery. May support corporate, divisions, or HNTB clients, and specific duties will vary according to where the analyst is assigned.
Essential Responsibility
Provides basic level financial reporting, forecasting, analysis and modeling to support management decision making.
Supports functions such as operations, accounting, finance, budget, tax and audit.
Prepares less complex financial and business related analysis, modeling and research.
Synthesizes large amounts of data into meaningful summarized reports to enhance leadership's ability to understand the information and make decisions.
Develops graphs, charts and presentations to clearly show data trends and projections.
Analyzes and monitors issues that affect Sales, Revenue, Earnings and Cash.
Supports cash management for timely cash receipts and supports leaders.
Supports or coordinates general accounting activities.
Monitors and supports financial related areas such as hours, payroll, purchasing, and A/P.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Preferred Responsibility - Prepare financial reports for compliance requirements. - Ensure compliance with outside regulatory requirements and internal policies - Design or update internal policies to mitigate risk regarding laws and regulations - Support or coordinate internal audits of proceduresBasic Qualification Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related degree In lieu of education, 4 years finance or related experience Preferred Qualification/Skills- 1 year of related experience - Strong analysis and Excel skills - Strong written and oral communication skills - Strong interpersonal skills - Sound business acumen skills - Organized and detail-orientedGeneral Work Conditions Office Environment:
Work is generally performed in an office environment in which there is only minimal exposure to potentially unpleasant working conditions. Incumbent must have the ability to stand and sit frequently, and reach horizontally as well as vertically for overhead use.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
