The Senior Field Service Engineer provides field serviceengineering and technical assistance to customers in areas of installation,startup, maintenance, and repair, training, and modification of electricalpower distribution equipment; self-manage assigned projects for electricalequipment; provide technical solutions to customers; perform less conventionalcomplex engineering assignments that may involve equipment or product design,testing of materials, process studies, or research investigations
Essential Functions:
Continuously improvepersonal, technical and professional business skills enabling incumbent toservice products to customer's satisfaction through keeping current withproduct technology as measured by ability to troubleshoot and repair variousproducts and to instruct others.
Provide timely, detailedand accurate reports on service work performed, product performance, andwarranty liabilities to company expense and time allocation.
Become computerefficient using laptops provided and mastering all required software.
Maintain all serviceequipment including all test equipment, tools issued to meet specificationsincluding EBE, ISO requirements, etc. in good working condition and maintainsufficient inventory to respond to standard calls.
Provide customers basicapplications information via phone or on site consultation and be available for24-hour x 7 days a week on call duty and respond to emergency situations withminimal notification.
Demonstrate ability toservice newly designed and experimental equipment, which has not been seenbefore, and instill confidence in the customer.
Develop and maintainstrong working relationships with customers, authorized service shops, otherservice organizations, and product business units to assure customersatisfaction. Incumbent demonstrates an awareness of customer needs,preferences, and time and financial constraints.
Proven customer service,sales ability, and ability to handle irate or difficult customers and gainsatisfaction.
Demonstrate safetyconsciousness in equipment handling, electrical and electronic procedures, andthe unique situations encountered at diverse work sites.
Position Criteria:
Possess and maintain avalid and unrestricted driver's license

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree inengineering (electrical, mechanical or engineering technology) from anaccredited institution
Minimum 3-5 years ofengineering experience
Legally authorized towork in the United States without company sponsorship

Qualifications:
Minimum 6 years'experience in testing, troubleshooting, evaluating, and servicing electricaldistribution and control systems
Minimum 6 years offield service experience
Minimum 6 withprotective relays and power systems analysis
Electrical Contractor'slicense
Professional Engineeringlicense
Minimum 6 performingpower quality measurements, troubleshooting, and analysis is highly desirable.
