Job Description:
The Online Sales Manager is responsible for helping drive our success by developing a strong understanding of our market, target customers and influencers, and helping to deliver integrated marketing programs that drive high-quality lead acquisition and conversion to sales engagements. The manager works closely with marketing to drive efficiency in our campaigns and leads a team of sales representatives who are responsible for creating pipeline for the sales team as well as selling Citrix Software services that address customer needs of varying complexity.
The Role
A proven leader who demonstrates knowledge in how to build and motivate inside sales professionals and teams with diverse backgrounds and different levels of experience. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, passionate and organized individual who displays the core values of Citrix and the SMB Sales Team. This person has a track record of designing, executing, and iterating on B2B marketing campaigns through multiple channels, and is comfortable testing new strategies. The leader is a solid project manager, very detail oriented, and a great listener to facilitate strong communication between marketing and sales. The focus will be managing the online team and collaborating with marketing to execute on our sales strategy for selling to companies that have between 1-500 employees who would benefit from Citrix Software Solutions Weu2019re looking for an individual that consistently demonstrates the following characteristics:
Enthusiasm: Motivate and engage inside sales reps to achieve revenue targets.
Leadership: Grow & develop a team of inside sales managers, guiding team on best practices for people management, performance management, and sales strategy execution.

High Velocity:Implement selling strategies to drive consistency and velocity throughout the sales process.
Problem Solver: Able to solve complex problems by primarily leveraging the systems and tools currently available to the organization.
Principal Responsibilities
Consistent attainment of sales targets and growth goals for managed territories
Ensure customer satisfaction by coordinating resources for team to utilize throughout sales cycle
Develop strategic plan for SMB online to drive pipeline and exceed new business targets
Active participation in cross-functional business unit planning initiatives such as product line group functions
Clear ability to drive the overall business strategy by collaborating with organizations such as marketing, business development, product to set strategies in place for overall business growth
Proactively identifies issues before they become issues, and driving their business to strong results
Evaluated on the effectiveness and performance level of the team they lead as well as the ability to attract, develop, retain, and grow top talent
Actively collaborates with professionals and peers beyond the sales organization in business development, marketing, product - showing ability to influence and build consensus beyond current organization
Identifies and address challenges / opportunities beyond the scope of their current role, reaching across the sales organization and driving enhanced business results
Leads people management decisions including, but not limited to: talent management, performance management, corrective action.
Solicit regular feedback from Sales for content and process improvements, pick likely winners, and implement them.
Work across the marketing and sales team to understand needs and influence content driven by market trends and customer requirements, including newsletters, blogs, product documents, tip sheets, infographics, etc.
Deliver on demand generation programs that result in a qualified, engaged pipeline of leads for the sales team.
Analyze and optimize the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, responsible for data extraction, list or lead generation, and testing/ongoing improvement
Stay current on competitors, industry trends and buyer needs through ongoing market research
Knowledge and Skills
3
years of experience in inbound, outbound, demand generation marketing in a B2B environment, preferably for SaaS solutions
1
years of experience in sales management, Demand Gen team management preferred
OR 3
years of experience in SaaS sales
4 year college degree or equivalent industry experience
Preferably worked in SaaS sales
Ability to influence v control others
Ability to deliver difficult messages while emphasizing a positive, future-oriented perspective.
Can adapt to changes in business direction, products, and needs both from a direct sales/partner sales perspective and Citrix perspective.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
Understands SaaS technology and market trends
Leads and implements process improvements beyond the scope of the current role
