We are interested in hiring an experienced graphics tech to design and set up artwork used in printing on our packaging products.
Job Requirements
Strong graphics design skills
Must be skilled in using the following graphics software applications, but not limited to:
o Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, QuarkXpress, Acrobat, InDesign, Fetch, Stuffit, and FTP sites
Must be experienced using both Macintosh and PC computers
Working knowledge of traps, bleeds, overprints, separations
Basic knowledge of designing within a structure.
Proofing capabilities attention to detail
Ability to follow company procedures, GMPs and all required paperwork
Areas of Responsibility
Prep all artwork for printing
o Setup bleeds, traps, overprints, separations
o Add internal codes or customer requested codes
Create specialty items for customers such as signs, mock-ups
Backup for layout impositions following factory ticket instructions
Properly handling of digital files
