Product Marketing Manager- ShareFile
We have an immediate contract opportunity with a large F500 client in the Raleigh, NC area.
Principal Responsibilities
o Understand the target buyers and users better than anyone else in the organization through data and research.
o Understand the market landscape and identify key areas of competitive differentiation and future disruptive opportunities. Maintain market sizing and opportunity assessment in a quickly changing, hyper competitive market.
o Conduct market research including quantitative surveys, segmentation research, live field tests, and conjoint analysis. Run tests or experiments in market to validate everything from pricing to messaging to new channels.
o Create crisp, clear positioning that is consistent and recognizable across the organization. Responsible for key messaging documents that include buyer personas, product positioning and price/packaging.
o Work cross functionally across the organization, especially with Product Management, Global Marketing, Client Services and Sales teams, to ensure consistent execution of positioning and messaging.
o Challenge current assumptions with regard to pricing, packaging and positioning and optimize strategies going forward for each vertical and market channel.
o Provides input to Product Management to assist with the development of new products and to improve existing products.
o Create and manage marketing launch plans for new features or products. Help in the creation of videos, fact sheets, web content, social & PR plans to support launch.
Experience
o Experience successfully positioning, packaging and launching products in multiple SaaS sales channels (online, offline, mobile, free)
o Experience developing pricing and packaging models. You're a bit of data geek and can crunch the numbers. You present logical conclusions and form next steps.
o Success in matrix organizations and working cross functionally. You have a track record of gaining consensus and moving teams forward towards common outcomes.
o You have a proven success record of moving customers through the marketing funnel with a focus on retention and high NPS.
o Bachelor's degree. MBA preferred.
