Lenovo is seeking a Services Solutions Specialist as the primary Lenovo Services expert that is a consultant to our customers to identify opportunities to enable efficiency and best practices for managing the PC lifecycle and Infrastructure Services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate thought leadership experience and implementation of IT technologies and process.
Introduction to the Role:
The primary objective of the Services Solution Specialist is to work directly with our customers and the groups they support to determine current state of efficiency and provide recommendations that lower costs and reduce burden on PC management staff with particular focus on Professional/Managed Services.
The Services Solution Specialist will be actively engaged in customer engagements with both the internal team as well as with customers directly. Ancillary responsibilities will include contributing to the ongoing education of our sales force through consistent and frequent interactions as well as providing the requisite reporting and tracking of the sales opportunity pipeline and results.
The Services Solution Specialist must be comfortable dealing with all levels of customer representatives as well as all levels of Sales and Services leadership within Lenovo. He or she will be an active advocate for our Customers' services needs within the business.
Responsibilities:
1. Through technical presales support by acting in a consultancy capacity, assist the Sales Teams'' Account Managers in qualifying and scoping services opportunities, particularly Professional Services
2. Consult with prospects and clients in order to gain a thorough understanding of their issues and objectives with regard to Professional Services and prepare services proposals with the Sales Teams.
3. Contribute recommendations for improvement in process from Pre-Sales engagement through to delivery process.
4. Act as a conduit between Sales Teams and Delivery and to own handover to Project Managers.
5. Share best practice with colleagues in order to streamline and improve the end-to-end process.
6. Attend internal and external meetings with Sales Teams and clients to promote Services offerings and provide clear and accurate reports on Sales Team and Account Management progress.
Key Interactions with: sales team, delivery team, operations team and services organization operations. 1. Minimum 8 year system administration and/or technical pre-sales experience within IT.
2. Experience in and understanding of IT Service challenges and common requirements for both domestic and international corporate customers.
3. Understanding of typical IT client infrastructures and associated hardware deployment practices and the ability to generate and communicate associated services value propositions.
4. Strong teamwork skill and ability to collaborate and influence across multiple functional organizations toward appropriate customer solutions.
5. Familiarity with and understanding of deployment services and provisioning processes.
6. Analysis capabilities to create, analyze and distribute performance data.
7. Significant experience creating compelling presentations and written proposals.
8. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Preferred Skills or
Experience:
1. Asset management knowledge.
2. Technical certification from Microsoft, Virtualization tools, Client management tools and ITIL.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
