Title: Software Integration Engineer

The Software IntegrationEngineerwill be responsible for integration, build, and supportt verification of embedded software forRadio Frequency Integrated Circuits (RFICs) . The candidate will be positioned within software development team and will be working closely with development and customer application team to drive software integration and release activities. The principal duties and responsibilities include:
Define and manage software release process on multiple projects
Integration and release of software components in an embedded RF software environment
Deploy automated build methodologies
Drive release planning and scheduling project deliverables by closely working with software development and customer application teams
Support defect investigation and resolution
Participate and add value in all phases of software development: feasibility, software requirement, design, implementation, integration, test and delivery
Education/
Experience: BS CS/CE/EE; 3 to 5 years relevant software development experience
Required Skills:
Strong C/C programming skills
Experience with embedded platforms & embedded software development paradigms
Experience with embedded real-time operating systems
Ability to work in distributed development environment
Hands on experience integrating, building, and testing of multi-thread based applications
In-depth knowledge of software development life cycle, software configuration management tools, and software release process
Experience with SCM tools (Clearcase, Perforce, SVN, etc.)
Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
Experience with defect tracking tools (Jira, Trac, etc.)
Customer-facing experience is also desired, as this position may be dealing directly with customers and/or partners
Strong communication skill
Preferred Skills:
Strong knowledge of a software development process (e.g. Agile, Waterfall)
Knowledge of a scripting language (Python, Perl)
For positions requiring access to technical data, ADI may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. As such, applicants for this position may have to go through an export review process.
