Responsibilities include: Reduce nonpay stops from Distributor force by contacting expired accounts to collect payment and reinforce the value and benefits of subscribing to The News & Observer.
Contact expired accounts to facilitate collection activity or resolve billing issues.
Maintain and track promises-to-pay to complete account reconciliation.
Communicate and work with Home Delivery staff to resolve all service issues and disputes.
Perform any additional responsibilities as assigned by the Subscriber Services Manager.
Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent required with some higher education preferred.
Prior work experience in collection environment preferred.
Special Skills/Licenses/Certifications: Basic PC skills required (email, word, excel) and excellent communication skills.
Must be able to sit at work station for 3.5 hours.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
