SaaS UI Architect

The ideal candidate will be able to collaborate across a multi-functional team to develop scalable and robust high performing SaaS applications.
UI Architect
Role and Responsibilities
Reports to the Director of Architecture
Works in a cross-functional team to develop a scalable, robust and high performing Saas applications used by Global 500 companies across industries and worldwide
Collaborates with UX, Interaction and Visual Designers, Product Owners, Architects, Developers and Testers in a highly transparent Agile organization, with iterations, continuous integration and a drive for quality
Takes ownership for vision and follow-through in designing and developing the User Interface architecture for SaaS applications with high scalability, throughput and availability using modern web technologies
Research new technologies, develop prototypes and lead integrations
Skills & Attributes:
Proven experience in architecting and implementing beautiful, usable, high-performance user interfaces for SaaS and mobile applications
Demonstrable knowledge of large scale, JavaScript application architectures
Very strong proficiency in CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript and JQuery
Solid design and coding skills with experience using JavaScript and CSS frameworks such as Angular, Bootstrap, Backbone and Ember
A strong understanding of both progressive enhancement and AJAX-based single page applications built using MV based frameworks
Experience integrating UI clients with REST services and JSON
Strong command of web standards, CSS-based design, cross-browser compatibility
Good interpersonal communication skills
The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in web-based UI application development with a passion for the latest technologies and experience in building Best of Breed SaaS applications

Bachelor's Degree in Math, Computer Science or Engineering

Experience developing in Java using Spring MVCEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
