Resources is actively seeking a CAD Lead. This is scheduled to be a long term contract assignment with the possibly of turning into a direct position. The CAD Lead will be responsible for managing and setting up projects and drawings, leading engineering meetings, and working with the different disciplines within the firm.
CAD Lead Requirements:
Associates or BS Degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting & Design, or related field of study
3
years of experience in a CAD leadership role or function, working with multiple design teams
Experience in AutoCAD design and creating standards and procedures for designers
Detail oriented and excellent organization skills
Previous experience in document control or project coordination in an engineering design function preferred
Work experience in industrial, pharmaceutical, biotech, food processing, or other FDA regulated industry is preferred
CAD Lead
Responsibilities:
Attend project kickoff meetings
Working collaboratively with clients? CAD Coordinators to obtain and review standards and modifications
Communicate with design teams on client requirements
Producing design templates for each design team to ensure consistency or work
Processing drawings and transmitting files from subcontractors
Creating and maintaining drawing lists for all design disciplines
Plotting drawings and creating cover sheets
Producing CAD archives at project milestones
Organize and maintain electronic files for client transmittal

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
