gpac is working with a client in the Raleigh-Durham area that is seeking a Plant Manager for their aseptic food manufacturing facility! MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING IN AN ASEPTIC FACILITY!!

Summary:

The Plant Manager will oversee the aseptic food manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background in food processing and a proven track record in leading teams, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring efficient operations. As the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of plant operations, including production, quality control, safety, maintenance, and employee development.

Required Skills/Abilities:


    • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
    • Ability to multi-task and prioritize; strong time management skills with the ability to work without extensive supervision
    • Thorough working knowledge of all current OSHA and Safety Standards
    • Attention to detail
    • Must work well in teams and demonstrate behavior conducive to promoting strong teamwork
    • Must possess a positive attitude in a fast-paced production environment
    • Must be punctual, on site and ready for work at scheduled hours
    • Excellent problem-solving skills with a data-driven and analytical approach.
    • Proven supervisory skills and demonstrated leadership skills
    • US work authorization

Education and
Experience:


    • Degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
    • Proven experience as a Plant Manager or in a similar leadership role within the aseptic
    • food manufacturing industry.
    • Strong technical background in food processing, including knowledge of aseptic
    • processes and equipment.
    • Ability to work on, maintain, and troubleshoot aseptic processing and filling equipment
    • Better Processing Certification
    • Proficiency in continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) and their practical application.
    • Sound knowledge of regulatory and safety requirements in the food manufacturing industry.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Knowledge of Food Safety, Safety Programs/Systems HAACP, GMP s, SQF etc.
    • Higher education in management, business, engineering, related field, or equivalent experience will be considered
    • At least 5 years plant operations experience
