Responsibilities:
Support Sales during the quote stage for technical requirements, manufacturability review, and cost development. Collaborate with CNC Programmers, Purchasing, and department leads to develop and document the manufacturing process. Develop and maintain ERP system data for all technical requirements such as Bill of Materials, Routings, Sequence, and Cycle Times to ensure accurate cost and capacity data. Provide technical support to Operations and NPI during the manufacturing process to resolve production issues promptly and support on-time delivery. Assist in continuous improvement process in all areas of production to improve part quality, and throughput and reduce overall production cost.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or similar engineering discipline (Preferred). A two-year technical degree will be considered for a Manufacturing Engineering role. 1-3 years experience in a manufacturing setting. Experience in CNC machining or fabrication (machining, sheet metal, welding) preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft products:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc. Excellent communication skills, with a customer-centric attitude and demeanor. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Team-centric attitude, willingness to be on the shop floor and work with key engineering and manufacturing leaders on design, process, and engineering projects.
