We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team.
As a Legal Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our legal team and assist with various tasks related to legal cases and documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with administrative task, document preparation, and case management - Prepare legal documents, such as settlement packages and request medical records.
- Organize and maintain legal files, both physical and electronic - Coordinate meetings, appointments, and court hearings for attorneys - Handle phone calls and correspondence with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel - Perform data entry tasks to update client information in the legal case management system - Provide general administrative support, including filing, copying, scanning, and faxing Skills:
- Strong phone etiquette and professional communication skills - Previous experience in a legal administrative role is preferred - Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines - Knowledge of administrative procedures in a legal setting Job Types:
