Our client is a customer service provider that deals mainly with medical insurance.
We assist employees of our clients in better understanding their coverage as well as the application for various benefits and compensation packages covered by their employers via phones.
About the role:
This position is supporting our client who is the leading provider of pre-tax benefit accounts and COBRA administration services including FSAs (Flexible Spending Accounts), HRAs (Health Reimbursement Accounts), HSAs (Health Savings Accounts) and commuter plans.
As a Customer Support Specialist, you will provide excellent customer service to participants by helping them to best manage their accounts, educate on plan details, and be the voice of the brand's practices and ideals.
We are looking for health insurance experience customer support specialists with background or knowledge in medical benefits/insurance.
This position will require you to train in our Raleigh, NC office for a minimum of 4 weeks Monday-Friday from 8-5 with an unpaid lunch break.
After training, schedules are Monday-Friday from 11:
00 AM - 8:
00 PM.
Key Job Responsibilities Employment will be contingent upon passing a background check Train from our Raleigh, NC office, then the potential to work from home if your performance is satisfactory! Provide support via email and phone to achieve high participant satisfaction.
Assist customers with account management and education Maintains and updates customer information as necessary Calmly attempts to resolve and de-escalate any issues Follow all standard operating procedures and departmental procedures regarding administration of pre-tax benefits and COBRA.
Act as a team player and work cooperatively with team members.
Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies regarding security of Protected Health Information (PH I) and Personally Identifiable Information (Pl I).
Demonstrate the integrity and discretion necessary to safeguard confidential data handled or obtained in the normal performance of job duties.
Thorough attention to detail and accuracy of work.

Education And Experience Medical or benefits experience/knowledge REQUIRED! 1-year + Minimum 1 year of customer-facing experience required (ex.
receptionist, community service, retail, front-end restaurant, telemarketing, etc.
); High School diploma or GED equivalent required; Salesforce experience a plus Amazing customer support presence (people can literally hear you smiling); Must be able to type a minimum of 40 WPM; Excellent oral & written communication skills; Excellent computer skills.
Pay:
$16.
00 per hour.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
