Job Overview:
We are looking for a technology leader with experience in the data space to lead one of our Direct Business technology teams.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead and help define the future state of processing which contributes a large amount to LPL's assets under management and which has been identified as a key area for improvement.
As such, LPL is looking for someone to lead a team of professionals as we upgrade our backend data ingestion processes in order to bring our applications to a state where we can be a key success factor in LPL's own growth strategy.
Responsibilities:
Work with the team and business to gather requirements from users; document analysis using business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis Schedule and lead requirements and design discussions with customers of all levels throughout the company including executives Innovate on out of the box solution that leverages the holistic knowledge of variety of use cases.
Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs Be a liaison between the application development team, other technology teams and project and relationship managers Manage and ensure requirements are met through the entire SDLC process by participating in design discussions, QA, UAT and deployment Collaborate with scrum master, product owner, and others to prioritize work as per roadmap, and push development through to implementation.
Ensure high productivity from development team Work with management on resourcing mix to effectuate the right team and value for business investment.
Work with various technical teams including system architects to plot out ideal ingestion methodologies, shifting the environment to one which is highly scalable and maintainable.

Requirements:

years of experience functioning as a leader within a mid to large organization 10
years of experience with Wealth Management Experience (or Asset Management experience with conceptual knowledge on WM is fine) preferred or Financial Industry experience 5
years' experience with demonstrable facilitation and leadership skills in requirements solicitation and review (user interviews) 5
years' experience with adept at SQL queries, report writing and presenting findings 5
years' experience with working knowledge of TFS, JIRA, QC, Aha! and other project management tools Core Competencies:
Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Must be comfortable in rapidly changing and sometimes ambiguous work situations.
Comfortable working independently, adapting to shifting priorities, demands and timelines in a fast paced environment Keen attention to detail and complex problem solving abilities from operational and technical perspective.
Ability to work independently and engage other team members as needed Ability to handle full workload and meet proposed deadlines Preferences:
Exposure to enterprise integration tools, and extract/transform/load (ETL) tools Experience in Agile development methodology/Scrum is preferred Experience managing a team Strong technical knowledge of technical data Experience in Cloud Technology Pay Range:
$113,520-$170,280/year Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
