7K a year HR Specialist Responsibilities/Requirements:
Position will provide direct HR advisory services to management and elected officials of the League's membership, administering indirect HR consulting services to the membership, assisting risk management claims staff in resolving potential employment related workers' compensation and liability claims of members.
Other duties include conducting risk reviews with members to identify and address updates to high liability policies and procedures, working with a legal team to facilitate a human resources telephonic service, organizing a committee of human resources professionals to review trends and make recommendations to assist our members with liability claims Position
Responsibilities:
Provides direct HR advisory services to the members by assisting with complex employment liability issues.
Provides guidance and identifies resources to help members avoid or mitigate HR liability exposures.
Provides intervention assistance to risk management claims staff by working with management and elected officials of members to resolve workers' compensation claims, and personnel issues; advising staff on potential claims or risk problems; and determining potential risk.
Conducts risk reviews with members to identify and address updates required for high liability policies and procedures.
Organizes a committee of human resources professionals to review trends and make recommendations to assist our members with liability claims.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
