Raleigh, NC Raleigh, NC Full-time Full-time From $95,000 a year From $95,000 a year The Regional Operations Director is responsible for daily oversight of ten to twelve primary care, family practice and urgent care clinics within his/her regional geography.
The Regional Operations Director is expected to achieve individual clinic volume goals, financial budget, and quality of care / ACO performance guidelines Along with the Medical Director, the Operations Director will be responsible for the smooth operation of clinics, patient flow, staff adherence to policies and procedures, and ensuring the highest levels of patient satisfaction and experience while optimizing clinical operational and financial performance.
Will foster a team environment within and among the clinics while mentoring and developing clinic staff.
Additionally, this individual will need to ensure consistent staffing (low turn-over) and possess a track record of excellent hiring practices.
The successful candidate will be a mature professional who can handle a fast paced and rapidly changing environment, a self-starter who has a sense of urgency, is extremely well organized understands financial P&L's and one who has superior communication skills He / she will have previous multi-site medical clinic experience with a balance of technical and strategic planning skills.
More importantly, an individual who is poised and performs well under pressure.
Responsibilities:

P&L accountability for a cluster of 10-12 clinics 2.
Daily operations including patient/customer centric service delivery, conducting on-site and spot audits of performance and compliance.

Ensure adherence with corporate policies & procedures.

Fully understands and promotes the Company's culture of regulatory compliance.
5.
Has a solid understanding of financial principals and can address budget variances quickly and effectively 6.
Develop and implement policies and processes to increase clinic efficiencies and customer service.

Develop marketing and sales strategies for existing and new clinic locations, coordinate with corporate marketing to implement strategies to increase volume and drive new patients to clinics 8.
Supervise all clinic staff, recruit and train all clinic staff, delegate responsibilities where possible to onsite lead staff.

Recommend and share best practices across the organization and senior leadership.

Has the ability to consistently grow a clinic by achieving annual visit volume and financial objectives each year 11.
Plan and manage clinic acquisitions 12.
Develop budgets and be accountable for results.

Quality and safety management 14.
Clinic staffing and scheduling 15.
Other duties as assigned by CEO and/or CFO.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
A minimum of five (5) years of progressive, direct responsibility within multi-site healthcare facilities.
Must have a solid understanding of financial management and demonstrable technical knowledge of computer programs - Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook) and EMR programs.
Must have experience demonstrating a high degree of management, supervisory leadership, relationship management, team building and motivational skills Knowledge of applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations including the requirements of HIPAA, OSHA and applicable rules and regulations pertinent to medical practices Possess excellent written and oral communication skills along with a strong sense of urgency and accountability in meeting goals and deadlines Proven ability to work with physicians and other clinicians in a collegial environment.
Performs any and all other duties which may be required to assure proper administration and management of the clinic sites, and as assigned.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare management or similar; clinical background is a plus.
Master's Degree is helpful.
Work Environment:
This position operates in a variety of environments.
Most of the time is spent in a professional office environment and this role routinely uses standard office equipment.
This position requires unaided lifting up to 10 pounds, regular daily travel, and some overnight travel up to 70% Job Type:
