The Customer Delivery Data Center Technical Leader position is responsible for the support and delivery of Advanced Services Data Center optimization, design, architecture, configuration review, and Cisco Data Center product implementation to Cisco's Tier 1 Customers in the US Public Sector market.
Additionally, you will be tasked with leading other data center engineers which will include delegating tasks and projects, coaching and mentoring engineers, and serving escalations as needed.
In this role, you will be Cisco's face to the customer working in a fast-paced, high-impact environment as a visible contributor delivering on our commitments.

Who You'll Work With The Federal Healthcare Delivery Team is comprised of geographically dispersed engineers that design, architect, and support work on critical networks with innovative Cisco solutions.
This team is leading the way in providing foundational engineering and operations support with the expectation for networks and data centers to perform at the highest possible levels.
We work with our customer in getting their infrastructure ready for future architectures and solutions and assisting them in navigating through proof of concepts and introduction of the same.

Minimum Qualifications Typically requires BS in a technical field (CS/EE preferred) or equivalent plus 8
years related experience.
Expert level (e.
g.
CCIE) or equivalent Data Center relevant certification desired.
Cisco DevNet certification is preferred.
Has moderate to advanced knowledge of software programmability, automation, orchestration, virtualization and/or security.
Ability to apply critical thinking to function effectively in ambiguous circumstances.
Successfully communicates difficult concepts.

Team player capable of working effectively with project managers, account team/pre-sales, and other engineers to deliver exceptional service.

Must be a subject matter expert (SME) with Cisco Data Center infrastructure and compute technologies (NEXUS, UCS, Intersight, HCI etc.
).
Must have experience with the following skillsets, technologies, and capabilities:
Extensive experience in the configuration of Cisco Data Center devices in large enterprise environments.
Ability to design complex Data Center solutions based on customer requirements and an in-depth understanding of the customer's environment.
Has lead projects supporting the design and implementation of Cisco Compute & Storage (UCS-B and C series servers, UCS-X, Intersight, UCS Management, etc.
) and Converged & Hyperconverged (Flexpod, Hyperflex, etc.
) solutions.
Ability to configure, implement, and troubleshoot routing and switching features on Cisco Data Center infrastructure (Nexus), storage networking (MDS), and software-defined (ACI) platforms.
Have a foundational and functional understanding of the following Cisco technologies and product capabilities:
