Summary:
Assist in the overall operations of the Tennis Department.
Maintain an environment of safety and cleanliness throughout the Tennis Department.
Greet members/guests (by name) in a courteous and professional manner.
Maintain daily maintenance of courts and surrounding tennis areas.
Maintain and simple repairs of tennis maintenance machines and equipment.

Diligently maintain clean and safe facilities Job Functions include:
Water, roll, drag surface and sweep lines of clay courts.
Blow debris and dust from surface of hard courts.
Build up low spots, shaves high spots, dusts (plugs or feathers material) on all clay courts.
Keep court tapes, nets, fences and gates in good condition.
Blows sidewalks, empties trash from court and facility receptacles.
Maintain court coolers, ice chest and shoe cleaners.
Clean Pro-shop windows.
Clean and maintain terrace areas in an orderly fashion.
Trim grass at court edges and prevent weed growth at court edges.
Clean court drainage gutters, drain and catch basins; install, remove and repair court wind screens.
Perform any additional tasks needed to keep tennis courts and surrounding areas in satisfactory operational order.
Perform tune-ups, oil changes, grease and fuel maintenance machines and equipment.
Report defective or worn parts of all maintenance equipment/machines to the Club Facility Manager/Director.
Arrange for any special machine maintenance or repair that requires outside resources.
Order and picks up maintenance machine/equipment parts and fuel.
Deliver machines/equipment to repair shops for overhauls and picks up when ready.
Report to Pro-shop desk personnel court conditions and updates court forecast on phone recording on a daily basis.
Know how to String rackets and assist as requested.
Is responsible to familiarize with all Tennis equipment, existing and updated technologies and know all aspects of Tennis Courts & Grounds.
Order, pick up and replenish facility supplies such as ice, towels and cups and picks up kitchen supplies such as lemon wedges, fresh fruit, snacks such as peanuts, crackers and cheese, and other kitchen supplies such as utensils, napkins, paper towels, etc.
and delivers to pro-shop.
Take courts reservations and input information accurately in the system.
Monitor loitering of unsupervised children and unauthorized personnel around tennis grounds.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
