The Department of the State Treasurer is seeking a candidate to perform technical and analytical work architecting, developing, testing, and otherwise supporting the Retirement Division's pension administration system, ORBIT, with new development initiatives and operational support.
This includes completing enhancements to the ORBIT system dictated by legislative changes passed in prior legislative sessions with upcoming mandated implementation dates to support the new laws.
The candidate will serve as part of a 16-person development team overall, with specific projects having teams between 4 and 9 development team members at various points in those project schedules.
Development duties include:
Business process automation analysis System architecture Coordination with business analysts on implementing business requirements and use cases developed System design System development Testing methodology implementation including building out automated unit tests for all code developed Test plan development and execution System automation and integration with Microsoft (MS).
NET languages and technologies Report development with MS SQL Server Reporting Services Tightly coupled development/integration with Workflow technologies.
Skill Matrix Overall experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle with an emphasis on large enterprise systems Required 10 Years.
NET Programming - C# Required 10 Years Microsoft SQL Server - Development Required 10 Years System Analysis and Design Required 10 Years Azure DevOps - Work Items and Branching Required 5 Years ASP.
NET MVC Development (v5) Required 3 Years Microsoft ASP.
NET Web API Required 3 Years Principal Architect on a complex, enterprise level system Highly desired 5 Years Technical Lead on a complex, enterprise level system Highly desired 5 Years Microsoft SQL Reporting Services Highly desired 5 Years.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
