DevOps Engineer - CLOUD

Position Overview Extron is looking for a DevOps Engineer as a member of a growing and highly skilled software design and engineering team. Alongside software development, the DevOps Engineer will introduce, promote, and evolve software engineering excellence based on industry standards and best practices and personal experience.
Responsibilities:
Evolve, maintain, and secure the team's continuous build, integration, and deployment strategies and infrastructure using a variety of Amazon's Web Services offerings and supporting production AWS applications. Implement and enforce the principles of modern, services-based system architecture within the engineering team. Sustainably drive the team towards the selection of appropriate tools, technologies, processes, and patterns. Help software engineering teams release higher-quality code, with greater confidence, faster and more often. Required
Qualifications:

years experience as a DevOps engineer writing code to support cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience using a variety of Amazon's Web Services (AWS) offerings and supporting production AWS applications including deploying AWS Lambda services. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and CDK. Hands-on development experience with modern scripting languages like Python, Node.js, or Typescript. Hands-on experience using and administering build automation, continuous integration, and source code management tools. Monitoring, alerting, and reporting for enterprise-level cloud infrastructure. A good understanding and appreciation of the Agile software development process. B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Nice To Have:
Hands-on software development experience using enterprise-level programming languages (e.g., Java or C#/.NET). Experience with cloud security (DevSecOps). Experience with DataDog, AWS CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrail, or other cloud monitoring solutions. Experience with QA and Test Automation concepts and technologies (Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin, GWT, etc.), including managing a fleet of hardware and devices on which to run tests. Experience with Jira Service Desk (JSD), Jira Service Management (JSM), or Atlassian Ops Genie for issue and incident management.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
