Systems Design Engineer-AVoIP

Position Overview:
Extron is looking for an AVoIP Systems Design Engineer to support its well-established base of professional audiovisual and network engineers. In this role you will assist Extron customers with AVoIP system designs, product training, commissioning, and technical support. AVoIP Systems Design Engineers also work with the sales team as a technical advisor for Extron product applications.
Responsibilities:
Assist customers in development of Extron AVoIP system designs and documentation. Review AVoIP system designs and validate for functionality and performance. Commissioning of advanced Extron AVoIP solutions. Escalation point for troubleshooting of AVoIP systems.
Qualifications:
5
years experience developing system designs for professional A/V systems. Experience supporting and troubleshooting professional A/V system installations. Knowledge and experience with technologies used in professional A/V systems. Knowledge of Video Streaming over IP Networks:
Experience with video and audio encoding and decoding. Experience with streaming media protocols i.e. H.264, Multicast, IGMP, UDP, PTP, Dante, AES67 Able to troubleshoot and resolve medium to complex streaming, audio, control, and network problems across a broad range of technologies and vendors. The following certifications are a plus:
CTS or CTS-D XTP-E Audinate CompTIA Network
or CCNA Expertise on MS Suite, AutoCAD or Visio. Ability to communicate concise and comprehensible presentations to small and large groups. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Bachelor's degree in engineering is preferred.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Electrical EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
