We are hiring a software engineering manager to be based in our Raleigh, North Carolina office as part of the InterAction team; a fast paced, highly dynamic group, committed to continuous improvement and adoption of best practices. The role provides leadership, management, direction, and vision to support, run, and change activities in the software development life cycle, reporting progress to senior management.

years of management experience BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required; advanced degree preferred Skills/
Experience:
Strong skills in setting, communicating, implementing, and achieving business objectives and goals through the direct management of others. Strong organization/project planning, time management, and change management skills across multiple functional groups and departments, including strong delegation and prioritization skills. Advanced problem-solving experience involving leading teams in identifying, researching, and coordinating the resources necessary to effectively troubleshoot/diagnose complex project issues Prior success extracting/translating findings into alternatives/solutions and identifying risks/impacts and schedule adjustments to facilitate management decision-making. Advanced communication (verbal and written) and customer service skills. Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills applicable to a wide audience including senior and executive management, customers, etc., including diction/terminology and presenting information in a concise and effective manner to clients, management, and various departments using assorted communication mediums. Expertise and proven experience in various staffing and resource models (such as Managed Services and/or Staff Augmentation), including offshore partnership development, to solving complex business needs. Industrywide or broad companywide technical knowledge. Proven ability to adapt to new roles and responsibilities. Experience of applying and tuning agile/lean software development processes, including BDD and TDD. Proven expertise and experience applying industry best practices in all aspects of development. Ability to write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of advanced complexity.

Salary Range:
$250K -- $500K+
Minimum Qualification

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
