LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

As a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, GS-0346-09, you will generate, develop, and modify various reports within logistical information systems for coordination and analysis of material management efficiencies; review automated output from Army's logistical information systems (LIS); review GCSS-Army workflow daily to release funded CL II and CL IX requisitions and monitor the system's material release strategy; provide analysis and guidance to support the material turn-in process; distribute funds to unit(s) Centralized Clothing and Distribution Facility (CCDF) account; visit logistical nodes to observe maintenance and supply operations and assist sites in improving productivity; proactively review over-due supply transaction on maintenance jobs and make recommendations that help to reduce the state's Overage Reparable Item List (ORIL) and work to resolve logistics problems. Experience, education or training involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED
Experience:
Must have at least 24 months experience, education, or training involving detailed knowledge of organizations and their functions in logistical support (i.e., supply, maintenance, quality assurance, facilities). Experience integrating actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to meet program goals. Experience interpreting and applying regulations, laws or practices. Experience planning and organizing work assignments. Substitution of Education for Specialized
Experience:
Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree, in an accredited college or university, meets the GS-5 level requirements.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
