Applicants must have one year of specialized experience (equivalent to the GS-06 level) that may have been obtained in the private or public (local, county, state, Federal) sectors which demonstrates:
Applied analytical techniques to the identification, consideration, and resolution of administrative issues of a procedural or factual nature related to; budget, procurement, property and space management, travel regulations, human resources, worker's compensation programs, information systems, safety and health programs. Made recommendations to management and implemented new administrative procedures. Advised personnel of, and implemented changes in administrative regulations and work processes. Purchased routine and specialized supplies, equipment or services using established procurement methods. This includes reviewing and evaluating proposals and quotes, performing price analysis, an negotiating contract prices and terms with contractors. Trained newly hired administrative staff and guided them through appropriate office procedures and personnel regulations. Note:
There is no education substitution for this grade level. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
