HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY) (TITLE 32)

As a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY) (TITLE 32), GS-0201-9, you will serve as an advisor to commanders on assigned unit human resources (HR) program. Interprets policy and provides procedural guidance to commanders, supervisors, staff members and individual military members; responsible for and oversees the direction of the EPM/OPM or Incentives program and functions as the technical expert; responsible for and oversees the direction of IPPS-A and internal/external interfaces, and functions as the technical expert; responsible for and oversees the direction of the Personnel Services Section and functions as the technical expert; accomplish and oversee the technical support work in the program area assigned with the assistance of subordinate employees which may be Active Guard Reserve (AGR), full time Technician, or civilian. Experiences gained through military or civilian technical training schools, within the human resources business programs, are included as general experience qualifications. An applicant must have a validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the occupational series and grade. BASIC QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Skilled in collecting and analyzing data effectively, efficiently, and accurately; Ability to clearly enunciate English without impediment of speech that would interfere or prohibit efficient communication; Ability to write English in reports and presentation formats; Ability to communicate clearly and effectively; Skilled in presenting formal training presentations and briefings; Ability to assess body language and perceive emotional and/or distress levels; and, Skilled in applying procedures and directives by reading and interpreting program material. Experience:
Must have at least one year of specialized experiences at the GS-07 level or the equivalent which provided a basic working knowledge of National Guard missions, organizations, and personnel programs. Must have a basic knowledge and experiences of personnel programs gained in a classroom or as an on-the-job trainee. Have knowledge-based competency of human resources business elements and can discuss terminology, concepts, principles, and issues related to this competency. Experienced in using references and resource materials and experienced in program functions such as, maintaining personnel records, counseling, or classification and assignments. Experiences may include performing personnel functions associated with preparing and maintaining position descriptions and manual records, personnel classification or usage, quality force management, managing personnel records and researching record data. Experience:
Must have a high school diploma or a general education development (GED) diploma. an undergraduate degree from an accredited college/university is optimum.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
