The Red Hat Quality Engineering team is seeking an engineer with Python development experience to test and validate open source systems management tools like Red Hat Satellite, The Foreman, and Katello. The Quality Engineering team is an international team of software developers and quality engineers working on the latest cutting-edge technologies within the Linux domain. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for extending Red Hat's existing test automation framework while evaluating and implementing new open source tools to verify quality.
Develop tests using Python and Selenium
Write automated tests and perform manual tests
Deliver clear status for testing areas in a timely manner
Participate in the test planning and product planning processes
Develop test cases and possess a solid understanding of testing processes
Write clear and accurate bug reports
2-3 years of Python development experience
Experience with the Selenium testing framework
Quality assurance testing experience on Linux or UNIX platforms
Experience building and maintaining test environments and automated data-driven test suites
Linux or UNIX knowledge at a system administrator level is preferred
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or a technology-related discipline is preferred
