Description
Construction Project Manager - Top 400 ENR GC - Raleigh will be responsible for the following:
- Review plans, specifications, and client requirements
- Initiate RFIs to resolve issues in the field and plan discrepancies
- Process, review, and track submittals
- Review design and shop drawings to evaluate the impact on the cost and schedule
- Prepare Subcontractor scope of work letters
- Initiate change orders to the Owner and solicit bids from Subcontractors
- Perform estimates and compile cost breakdowns for the client to review
- Conducting regular meetings with the team to ensure work is on schedule, within budget and compliant with technical, safety and legal requirements.
- Provide schedule assistance and track daily production
- Coordinate correspondence between the design and construction team
- Lead and mentor a team of Project Management staff
Profile
Construction Project Manager - Top 400 ENR GC - Raleigh will the following
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field strongly preferred but not required
- Experience with commercial, light industrial, health care, or education projects preferred
- 5
years of total, progressive project management with a GC - 10M
construction project experience preferred - Applicable project management software knowledge
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- People smarts and experience in a team-oriented environment
