is broadening our transportation engineering service offerings to our growing client base in the Mid-Atlantic region including the Carolinas and Virginia.
The Traffic Analysis Project Manager (PE) will help oversee traffic studies, analyses and modeling.
We are open to hiring in various North Carolina locations.
Your Primary Responsibilities will include Oversee preparation of traffic engineering studies and traffic impact analyses through the life cycle of assigned project(s), including quality control.
Strengthen the DRMP brand through business development efforts across states.
Manage multiple private sector traffic studies and provide technical quality control on projects.
Supports marketing with project pursuits, technical presentations, and interviews.
Manages multiple publicly and privately funded projects and provides technical quality control of projects.
Prepares project fee proposals and follows up as appropriate.
Responsible for tracking of costs, schedules, and performance measurements for assigned projects.
Supervises work of Project Managers, Associates, and Interns.
Responsible for personal professional development through collaboration with other service areas to develop broader awareness of the relationships between the various project design disciplines.
Mentors/Coaches Project Managers, Associates, and Interns to develop staff.
What you'll need
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline 7-10
years of overall and progressively responsible experience with public and private sector projects, ideally in the A/E/C industry Experience managing projects Proven track record of completing traffic studies in the state Existing contacts and strong relationships with private sector development clients Willing to travel to interface with clients Preferred:
Professional Engineering licensure in the state where this person's work is primarily performed Skills:
Knowledge of appropriate technical analysis standards and practices.
Ability to manage multiple projects.
Ability to make presentations to large groups.
Strong knowledge of Synchro, SIDRA, and other applicable software.
Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, etc).
Detail-oriented, adaptable, and natural problem-solver capable of probing issues and finding appropriate resolutions.
