Office Complex, Raleigh, NC PAY GRADE Noncertified Grade 20 FLSA STATUS Nonexempt ELIGIBILITY FOR EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT No WORK WEEK SCHEDULE Monday-Friday (occasional evenings and weekends) POSITION PURPOSE:
Coordinates and/or performs the shipping, receiving, and material handling responsibilities in the instructional/custodial warehouse area.
Responsible for the inventory management and accuracy, order filling, as well as the movement of materials into and out of the facility.
Provides customer service via email and walk-in requests.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSAs) Considerable knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point; Google Apps; Working knowledge of the principles of warehouse operations as it relates to shipping, receiving, and inventory management; Effective time management skills; Excellent customer service skills; Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form using a variety of communication techniques and tools to ensure the appropriate flow of information, collaborative efforts, and feedback; Ability to understand basic math concepts; Ability to work independently without close supervision; Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school system staff.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent; Two years of shipping/receiving or general warehouse experience.
CERTIFICATION AND LICENSE REQUIREMENTS Must hold and maintain a valid motor vehicle operator's license according to the State of North Carolina requirements.
Within six months of the hire date successfully complete training and certification requirements as a forklift operator.

Qualifications:
Experience working within Oracle based accounting systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Receives and processes warehouse orders, issues warehouse stock, and packs for shipment to Wake County Public School System (WCPSS) locations (pick up, unload, label, store) while maintaining proper warehouse operations.
Processes all warehouse transactions in the warehouse management/inventory system in Oracle.
Inspects and reviews incoming stock to determine purchase order compliance.
Assign and maintain stocking locations of product, in accordance with established warehouse procedures.
Conducts periodic physical inventories and cycle counts, to insure a high degree of inventory accuracy.
Performs daily safety and operational checks of tools, equipment, and vehicles to maintain appropriate standards.
Safely operates a forklift to complete warehouse duties.
Perform other duties, as assigned.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This job operates in a warehouse environment with variable temperature and moderate noise levels.
Work requires exposure to variable weather elements.
The position, at times, must be able to come into direct contact with school system staff, staff members of external funding agencies, and the community.
Work is considered strenuous physical work, requiring the exertion of up to 50 pounds of force.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
