Cut pads to fit area rugs Deliver and roll out rugs, move furniture and accessories Receive materials, checking labels against print outs carefully Operate machinery and equipment as required.
Unload rolls, pallets, and boxes as required using proper tools.
Lift heavy furniture, boxes, adhesive, and carpet tiles Maintain a clean and organized area Do any and all things needed in warehouse plus help maintain showroom when needed.
Put up samples.
Cut samples for display.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods of time - Experience with loading and unloading shipments is preferred.
Forklift certified preferred.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions - Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
Be able to take direction well from the warehouse manager that has a wealth of knowledge.
-Must be kind and have a great attitude, willing to help others.
-Once trained, needs to be a self starter.
-Willing to learn new things and grow.
