Wake County, NC Wake County, NC Full-time Full-time $44,588 - $78,028 a year $44,588 - $78,028 a year 2 days ago 2 days ago 2 days ago Description of Work The Financial Analyst Contributing position is responsible for the preparation of the DHHS Public Assistance Cost Allocation Plan (PACAP).
The division plans assigned to the Contributing position are the smaller, less intricate plans contained in the PACAP.
Responsibilities include:
Collecting and analyzing cost allocation statistics for assigned divisions Preparing worksheets, schedules and supporting information required to allocate costs in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and federal regulations for all assigned divisions Prepares cost plan amendments and is responsible for researching the questions concerning the amendments raised by the federal Division of Cost Allocation and the various federal funding agencies Prepares the cost allocation plan narratives, the allocation bases, and the cost allocation percentages Provides DHHS Office of the Controller's management and Department management with various analyses relating to special projects and management requests.

Bachelor s degree in accounting, banking, finance, business administration, economics, or a related discipline from an accredited institution OR An equivalent combination of education and experience.
