We are seeking a Construction Superintendent for our custom home building business.
You have the opportunity to make a major impact on the overall success and mission of our organization.
The right candidate will manage all onsite construction activities including; scheduling subs and deliveries, quality control, quality checklist, direct communications and meetings with the homeowners.
We build truly custom homes, every project is unique and not repeated.
We have a team approach where you will work with our selection coordinator, project estimator, the clients, and their representatives to ensure a spectacular project.
We value high quality construction and have a good process that produces great results.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Keep a current and projected schedule that will be used by all parties including the homeowners.
Schedule all subcontractors and supply deliveries for the project.
Review all subcontractor work for quality, document the quality of the work through onsite management Responsible for all Job Site activities including meeting with the homeowner onsite for any construction-related questions.
Meet with clients throughout the project to review items like:
HVAC and plumbing placement, interior trim layouts, electrical options, etc.
Review and approve all supplier/subcontractor invoices related to construction-related activities.
Punch and warranty work Job Qualifications Must have an ownership mindset, overall great communication and relationship skills Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is preferred but not mandatory 3-5
years experience in the residential building industry Strong knowledge and experience in different types of construction material and techniques; different wood materials and best practices, HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing configuration and best practices.
Experience or high level of comfort working with a closely held company and daily interface with ownership Good working with in a system and good working with others Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Email Job Type:
