The Education Coordinator provides campus wide leadership in planning, implementing, developing and monitoring all aspects of student records and registration.
Candidate must be very organized and very proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and other end-user computer software.
REPORTS DIRECT TO:
Campus Director or President MINIMUM
Qualifications:
Associate's Degree preferred Experience in the education industry a plus Ability to understand and utilize computer software programs Have knowledge of a variety of equipment including computers, fax, scanners, and copy machines Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, staff, faculty and administrators Strong organizational skills Ability to multi-task FLSA STATUS:
Exempt ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Model the Company's cultural values on a daily basis.
Flexible and positive in adapting to job or business changes.
Manages the college's course scheduling system and processes.
Assists in determining course schedule for students to ensure efficient use of facilities, equipment and human resources, including resolving conflicts with the Campus Director or President regarding student and course schedules.
Manages request for student program and course status changes, student request for transcripts, and enrollment and/or degree verification.
Conducts degree audits to ensure students meet program requirements and approves graduation eligibility of students.
Directs maintenance and security of student admissions and academic records, including recording grades.
Monitors and maintains accurate student statuses and alerts other departments as to changes that may affect good standing or Title IV funding.
Monitors and maintains timely accurate attendance for all courses and students.
Partners with functional managers to achieve desired organizational results in areas of customer satisfaction, student retention, staff retention, graduation rates and satisfactory student progress and other compliance and organizational metrics and goals, including analyzing enrollment and demographic statistics as well as compliance in accordance to attendance requirements.
May occasionally take on higher level duties as assigned.
Coordinates reports for state, federal and/or accrediting bodies.
Maintains the utmost of student record privacy and integrity, including but not limited to those guidelines pursuant to FERPA.
Coordinate with business office to ensure accurate tuition billing.
Coordinate with admissions to ensure start numbers are accurate.
Manage student issues and complaints in a professional timely manner.
Maintain professional atmosphere, including dressing in business attire (shirt and tie for gentlemen).
As appropriate process student paperwork to state and federal bodies (e.
g.
licensure applications).

The Education Coordinator is a full-time position working the hours required to meet job expectations.
Employment with Gwinnett is at will and employment may be terminated at any time with or without cause or notice.
Scheduled and unscheduled performance reviews are given according to Company policies, at least annually.
Limited travel may be required.
