Size of projects determines amount of hands on work.
This job does require working with tools and your hands.
Manage the oversight of construction activities, including, though not limited to, budgeting, project scope identification, field management, execution, and project close-out.
Create scope for Change Orders, including labor, supplies, materials and other ancillary costs.
Drive cost-effective strategies in the field.
Schedule and assign construction work to each subcontractor.
Maintain a daily job site log.
Perform hands on work as/when needed.
Maintain strict build-out construction schedule and make changes as necessary to ensure deadlines are met.
Ensure the work is completed safely.
Responsible for overall client satisfaction, profitability and success of their project workload.
Involved in all phases of the construction project from initial planning to completion/close-out.
Mediate between owners and tenants to find workable solutions that appeal to both parties.
Qualifications - Construction Superintendent - WORKING Minimum 3 years construction experience Skilled with Hands On work 1
years' experience as a Project Superintendent in the construction industry Proficient in Windows & Excel operating systems Experience working on smartphones and laptop Must be able to read plans.
Ability to work with numerous contractors and sub-contractors in an efficient manner Excellent listening skills and have strong communication skills Ability to identify and resolve complex issues A strong work ethic and a can-do attitude Construction Hands On knowledge, Carpentry, GWB, ACT, Doors & Hardware, etc Compensation:
