This Opportunity WSP is currently initiating a search for a Sr.
Construction Representative for our Raleigh, NC or Durham, NC office.

As the Construction Administrator, you will work independently supporting internal and external clients, vendors, project stakeholders, and partners throughout various stages of project delivery.
This opportunity requires a combination of skills that are essential to the success in achieving the goals expected, not only of the position but of the mission of WSP as well.
Your Impact Demonstrated experience in the space of Advanced Manufacturing and Industrial facilities monitoring and supporting activities throughout various phases of construction.
Must be able to manage and coordinate various activities required of the construction project using established controls and procedures, carrying out tasks in the areas of scheduling, safety, quality, and design coordination.
Relay any critical issues to the designer of record and the general contractor that deem pertinent to the building project.
Demonstrate the ability to interface with various vendors, architects, engineers, contractors, field personnel and other project stakeholders through project execution, communication, problem solving, monitoring the construction schedule, tracking submittals, and requests for information (RFI's) and responses.
Possess experience working with Construction and Project Management software such as Project Site, Procore, Newforma or similar programs.
Possess the ability to monitor construction activities across various design disciplines that include civil, architecture, structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, building technology engineering and systems.
Participate in weekly OAC meetings.
Review of change orders and recommend issuance of field change orders.
Support in the review of contract documents for potential A/E errors and omissions.
Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
Who You Are Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), Construction Management, or other related discipline, and a minimum of 5 years of experience.
OR equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
5-7 years of experience.
a Master's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management is preferred.
Ability to read contract design documents and technical specifications/reports.
Proficient in the use of Construction Management software tools such as Procore, or similar program.
Working knowledge of REVIT, Navisworks and Revitzo is preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
Demonstrated experience in the project delivery of Advanced Manufacturing or Industrial Facilities desired but not required.
Understanding of Process Architecture or Process Engineering desired but not required.
Understanding of construction scheduling utilizing Primavera P6.
Proficient in basic computer skills utilizing Windows / Outlook / Microsoft Word and Excel.
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
