Job Description:
Active Directory Server Integration - base operating systems, security settings, updates, and level three (and higher) support.
Active Directory - should include FSMO role administration, replication management and troubleshooting and in-depth knowledge of Active Directory Sites and Services.
In-depth knowledge of and experience with all aspects of Active Directory Users and Computers.
This also includes design and implementation, group policy objects (GPO), security groups, PKI, user and computer objects, logon authentication, scripts, replication, forest and domains, release management, production, user/account provisioning, LDAP/application support and level three (and higher) support.
Diagnosis and troubleshooting domain controllers in multiple AD forests and domains and a well-developed understanding of a multi-forest; multi-domain; multi-site distributed directory services environment.
Azure management and administration.
Experience and familiarity with Microsoft Azure fundamentals as well as more advanced concepts such as Azure Active Directory Synchronization, Single Sign On, Conditional Access Policies, etc.
Knowledge of DNS concepts, 3rd Party DNS Solutions, and identifying problems and solutions with that technology.
Experience and familiarity with load balancing technology and its operation.
Remote Management - Extensive experience in remote management and support of all Windows endpoints.
Program language knowledge of PowerShell is essential, experience in VBS, C++, Perl, and JAVA a PLUS.
Problem solving skills outside the normal, day-to-day IT operational challenges.
Able to patiently and extensively research solutions and collaborate with peers in formulating timely solutions to complex, one-of-a-kind problems.
Six years of experience progressively working with the more difficult aspects of Windows with four (4) years' experience in planning, architecting, developing, testing, and implementing PC LANs.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to formulate and document proposed LAN system and operating system solutions with comprehensive, quantitative, and qualitative terms appropriate for comparative analysis.
Ability to lead, if necessary, or actively participate in vendor involved troubleshooting and remediation with companies such as Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, and others.
Other Windows related Engineering activities as requested by client from time to time during the Period of Performance.
