Construction Civil Superintendent

We are in need of a Superintendent with a background for managing Civil Site work on commercial construction projects.
The project location is in the Raleigh, NC area.
The Site Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all on-site activities for civil construction, ensuring that they are completed safely and on time.
This includes coordinating and supervising the work of subcontractors and consultants, ensuring that all workers are following safety procedures, monitoring construction progress, and identifying and resolving any issues or delays.
The Site Superintendent also maintains accurate daily records, photos, conducts regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications, and provides regular updates and reports to the Project Manager and other members of the construction team.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and supervise the work of subcontractors and other workers on the construction site, ensuring that they are following all safety regulations and procedures.
Coordination with our Building Superintendents for vertical construction.
Monitor construction progress and identify and resolve any issues or delays that could impact the project schedule.
Hold and conduct weekly jobsite meetings with Subcontractors, schedule testing and inspections, and participate in Owner, Engineer, Contractor meetings.
Maintain accurate daily reports, photos, logs, and As-Built plans.
Ability to update and forecast schedules.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications, including all applicable safety regulations.
Provide regular updates and reports to the Project Manager.
Ability to conduct meetings regularly representing the Company with Owners, Architects, Civil Engineers, City Representatives, and Department of Transportation.
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience in construction site supervision.
Vertical building construction experience is a plus.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Proficiency with PlanGrid software (Preferred).
Knowledge of construction safety regulations and procedures.
Read and interpret plans and specifications.
Work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Additional compensation would be in addition to the salary range posted.
The salary within the quoted salary range will depend on experience level and qualifications of the candidate.

Depending on the needs of the client, our services include Preconstruction Services, General Contracting, Design-Build, Construction Management (CM) and Civil Management.
