Ballet Teacher for Children
Quick Apply Part-time 18 hours ago Full Job Description Tutu School is seeking part time ballet teachers at both of our our boutique ballet school locations in Raleigh and Cary.
Applicants must love working with children, have experience working with groups of 5-10 children ages 2-8 years old, and a dance background.
Tutu School is a collection of boutique ballet studios for children from 18 months to 8 years-old.
It is a place where students are urged to fully exercise their imaginations as well as their bodies, and where we not only focus on teaching children age-appropriate motor skills and the fundamental principles of ballet, but also expose them to the world of classical music and the enchanting stories of famous ballets.

We require our teachers to have experience working with children, a strong background in dance, great communication skills and a commitment to our carefully crafted curriculum.
Most of all, we want instructors that are invested in nurturing the big dreams of little dancers.

Responsibilities and Duties Extensive training provided in Tutu School's carefully crafted curriculum Teachers will independently teach ballet classes (45 min in length) to students ages 18 mo - 8 years Studio opening and closing duties Customer Management System Lead and help coordinate special indoor events Lead and host birthday parties Lead and host summer camps Brand ambassador representing Tutu School Qualifications and Skills Excellent customer service Excellent communication skills and professionalism Experience working with young children (1 year required) Teaching Experience (1 year required) Background in dance required (ballet preferred) Great attitude Extremely reliable and punctual Willing to work a flexible schedule and available to work late afternoons and weekends Benefits Room to grow into leadership roles as the studio grows Pay is determined based on experience level, education and certifications Bonus pay available Job Type:
