00 PM Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Duties are predominately dedicated to the Veterinary Health and Wellness Center (HWC), but must serve in a back-up capacity to the Equine and Farm Animal Veterinary Center (EFAVC).
Maintain clean and sanitary hospital by adhering closely to established protocols; including cage/run/stall cleaning, cleaning and disinfecting of all designated hospital areas, trash removal, etc.
Maintain supplies and equipment.
Participate in on call schedule, weekend rotations, and holiday rotations as needed.
Ensure compliance with all Infectious Disease protocols.
Assist with inventory control, supply ordering, and ensure effective communication and collaboration with other areas of the hospital and direct supervisor.
Provide animal husbandry support as needed.
Clean and disinfect cages/runs/stalls in between patients.
Clean and disinfect hospital corridors, treatment areas, floors, drains, etc.

Routinely detail clean cage doors, run gates, ledges, and other dust collecting surfaces.
Handle / restrain patients as needed.
